A Calm, Supported Start — Right at Home

Expert newborn care and parent guidance during your baby's first days home. Short-term. High-touch. Life-changing.

Now serving New York City · Expanding nationwide

You brought your baby home. And now it's just you.

The hospital monitors are gone. The postpartum nurses are gone. The sense that someone who knew what they were doing was always nearby gone. What's left is a sweet baby who needs everything, a new parent that's been through something extraordinary, and a quiet house that suddenly feels very loud.

This is the part nobody fully prepares you for. And it's the part PFS was built for.

Parents First Days exists for the first hours and days after hospital discharge when the need is highest and the support is thinnest. We put a warm, skilled newborn care specialist in your home so those first days feel manageable instead of overwhelming. Not because you can't do this. Because you shouldn't have to do it alone. We are part of your village.

What the Experts Recommend
And Why It's Harder Than It Sounds

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that babies sleep in their parents' room on a separate surface, close to the bed for at least the first six months of life. The evidence behind this is clear: room-sharing reduces the risk of SIDS by as much as 50%.

What the guidelines don't account for is that first few weeks, what that actually feels like at 2 am. Every rustling sound. Every feed. Every moment of wondering if the baby is breathing. Room-sharing is the right call. Doing it alone, exhausted, every single night when you have to execute ideas from every parenting book you read, that's where some families break down.

This is exactly where a Parents First Days specialist changes the equation, early. Your Newborn Care Specialist is with you during the hardest days of the transition, when every sound feels unfamiliar and every skill feels uncertain. Your baby sleeps in the bassinet beside your bed, exactly as recommended, while your specialist handles the overnight feeds, the soothing, and the settling, and teaches you to do the same.

By the time your package ends, you're not starting room-sharing from scratch. You know your baby's sounds. Your baby knows your room. You have a rhythm, and the confidence to keep it going on your own for the months ahead.

Parents First Days™ provides short-term, in-home newborn care during the highest-need window after birth, from the day you come home through your baby's first 16 weeks. Testimonial

From the Families We've Supported

"My surrogate delivered on a Tuesday. By Wednesday night I was home with our son and completely terrified. Our specialist walked in and I finally took a real breath. Worth every single dollar."

Priya & Rahul S.  ·  Midtown, NYC  ·  Surrogacy Family

"I am a single mom by choice. There was no partner to tag in at 3am. Having a specialist who just handled it   who let me sleep   was not a luxury. It was survival."

Lauren E.  ·  Park Slope, Brooklyn

"I had a C-section, a husband back at work by day three, and zero family nearby. Our specialist walked in and everything calmed down. She didn't just care for our son   she taught us how to do it ourselves."

Tanya & Derek M.  ·  Upper West Side, NYC

When your package ends, the support does not stop. Every family receives two virtual follow-up calls after care concludes   a touchpoint for when the questions start stacking up in week two or three and you want a real answer from someone who already knows your baby.

If you want continued sleep guidance as your baby grows, we connect you with a sleep consultant in our network   someone who can pick up where your specialist left off without starting from scratch.

And if you are ready for long-term care   a night nanny, a full-time nanny, a household manager   we connect you directly with Tiny Treasures Nanny Agency for a seamless transition. No cold searches. No starting over.

From your first days home to everything that comes after   we are with you.

The Best Time to Book Is Before You Feel Urgent About It.

Most families start thinking about postpartum support in the third trimester, when the due date starts feeling real. By then, the most in-demand specialists and the best windows are often already claimed.

We recommend booking after your 20-24 week anatomy scan. By that point, you know your baby is healthy, your due date is confirmed, and you have enough time to plan your care thoughtfully   not scramble for it.

Booking early does not mean committing to every detail right now. It means securing your place, knowing your specialist will be ready, and entering the third trimester with one less thing to figure out.

A deposit holds your spot. The rest can be finalized as your due date approaches.

Packages fill. Availability is limited.

We support a small number of families each month by design, so every match is thoughtful and every family feels like a priority. If your due date is within the next 8 weeks, reach out now.

You have already done the hard part. You found us. Let us take it from here.

Using Your HSA, FSA, or Employer Benefits

Parents First Days packages may be eligible for reimbursement through your HSA or FSA account with a Letter of Medical Necessity from your healthcare provider. Some employer benefit programs including CARROT Fertility may also cover in-home postpartum support.

We provide itemized receipts for all packages. Ask us about HSA/FSA documentation when you inquire.

Note: Eligibility depends on your specific plan and provider. We recommend confirming with your HSA/FSA administrator before booking.
